About Pepper & Daisy

Made with Love
What started as a little hobby in 2019 has grown into something I could never have imagined — Pepper & Daisy, a small, family-supported candle and home fragrance business, handmade with love in Glenbrook in the beautiful Blue Mountains.
It all began when family and friends started asking if I could make candles for them — and, perhaps more importantly, whether they could pay me to make them! With lots of encouragement from my family, I decided to turn my love of creating candles into a business.
From the very beginning, Pepper & Daisy has been a family affair. My daughter-in-law, Brittany, created my original website and helped run all of my social media, while my husband, Rodney, was my biggest supporter at markets, spending countless weekends beside me. My daughter Elissa and son Tom have also always been there to help, encourage and support me along the way. I really couldn't have done it without them.
Where did the name come from?
Pepper & Daisy was inspired by our two beautiful rescue cats.
Pepper is our sweet (sometimes sour), tortoiseshell, while Daisy was quite literally the queen of the house — and, as far as she was concerned, the queen of the entire neighbourhood! Sadly, we lost Daisy in 2025, but her name and her place in our family live on through Pepper & Daisy. ❤️
More than just candles
One of my favourite parts of what I do is creating something that is personal and completely unique.
I make lots of special orders for birthdays, weddings, baby showers, gifts and other special occasions. If there's a fragrance you love that I don't normally stock, or you'd like something created specifically for your occasion, get in touch!
I love working with customers to create their own signature pieces. There is no additional design or customisation fee — you simply pay for the items you choose.
I also love collaborating with local businesses. Living in Glenbrook means I'm lucky enough to create some of our popular dessert candles for Glenbrook and Penrith Underground, as well as signature ranges for Foothills Eco gift shop in Glenbrook, including our large wooden candle bowls, handmade pottery candles, melts and pastel tin candles.
A little change of pace
After my husband Rodney underwent two heart surgeries this year, we've had to make the difficult decision to step away from our regular markets and pop-ups for now.
But Pepper & Daisy is still very much here!
I now have a candle display in my home in Glenbrook, where you can come and browse the range, smell the fragrances and purchase your favourites by appointment.
It's a little different from our market days, but I love being able to welcome customers into my own space and share the things I've created.
Made with love in Glenbrook
I feel incredibly lucky to have such a beautiful and supportive family and to have turned something I started as a hobby into a business that allows me to be creative every day.
I love candles, home fragrance, creating new things and making something that brings a little happiness into someone's home.
So whether you're looking for your favourite fragrance, a special gift, something completely custom or simply a candle that makes your house smell amazing, I'd love to create something for you.
